Victor de Villeblanche brings to the firm solid legal expertise acquired during his private law degree and more than 10 years of experience as a private investigator since 2012. His background includes 6 years in close protection in Southeast Asia, giving him a perfect command of English and a valuable international network. A graduate of the Institut de Formation des Agents de Recherches Privées (IFAR), he is also a member of the prestigious Council of International Investigators (CII), providing Aquila Stratégie with a global network of professional investigators.
At his side, Igor Defosse completes this management team after a successful career change in private investigation and obtaining all IFAR certifications. Their complementary skills and shared vision guarantee the excellence of the services offered by the Aquila Group, private detectives in Paris and throughout France.
Joining this leadership team is Sarah Da Silva, managing partner of the Aquila Group. As a representative of the new generation of private investigators, she embodies the dynamism and high standards of the profession. After two years of law studies at the University of Nice, she shifted her focus to private investigation, earning the CQP certification, the bridge program, and the IFAR professional certification in 2025.
Trilingual (French, Portuguese, English) and with a solid foundation in Italian and Spanish, Sarah Da Silva operates in a decidedly international environment. Holder of a Class B driver’s license and a three-wheeler license, she works primarily in the Cannes, Nice, and Monaco area, where she leads confidential assignments.
Driven by exemplary rigor and a deep sense of duty, Sarah applies her skills to the most sensitive investigations at the Aquila Group, which she leads alongside Victor de Villeblanche and Igor Defosse, ensuring the continued excellence and trust that have built the firm’s reputation.
The Aquila Group also draws on the expertiseof Adrien Guerier, Managing Partner and Director for the Brittany and Pays de la Loire regions. A graduate of IFAR with a dual specialization in Banking and Insurance and Private Law, he has developed a hybrid approach that combines a legal perspective with a deep understanding of financial mechanisms. Active in the field since 2022, he applies his academic knowledge on a daily basis to develop concrete investigative methodologies, always conducted strictly within the bounds of the law and with the discretion required by the Group’s assignments. His dual expertise in law and finance enables him to effectively handle complex cases requiring in-depth analysis of asset structures or suspicious financial flows. Currently leading regional development in Brittany and the Loire region, he ensures the continuity of Aquila’s standards in these expanding territories.
This team of four managing partners ensures that the Aquila Group has a structured national presence, diverse expertise, and optimal operational capacity throughout France. From Paris to Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, from Brittany to the Pays de la Loire and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, the standards of excellence, discretion, and legal compliance remain consistent, ensured by this experienced and complementary collegial leadership team.
